Quarry # 2 Entrance
If you continue down the road from Quarry Cave # 1, you will pass through a section with a number of large rocks on the slope above.  As you come to the next clearing, on you right, you will notice the beginnings of another quarry dig.  However, this dig was aborted as various economic forces brought the business to closure.  A few more steps and you will come to Quarry Cave # 2.  The entrance to this cave is not as massive as Cave # 1, as the rock seam is lower at this point.  Don't let the smaller opening deceive you, as this tunnel extends far back into the mountain with a number of side branches and posts.  Continuing down the road from Cave # 2, You come to the northern border of the State Game Lands and arrive on private property.  Please respect the signs and confines of the camps.  It is only by the courtesy of these land owners that we are allowed to continue walking the road, on down the valley.  In particular, stay away from the private pond and the posted areas.
