As we continue up Glade Run, we pass Big Fossil Rock. I am not a paleontologist, but the imprints on the rock are still interesting to see. In this area of the stream, the stream sometimes disappears from view, flowing under the large rocks during periods of low flow. The stream flows underneath the rock, into the pool shown in the images below. |
