As interesting as The Canyon is with its faults, potholes, ledges and deep water, the most exciting thing to see here, is the aggressively feeding brook trout fingerlings that have been living and growing in this hole since they were released during and after the fish survivability studies conducted by students of California University of Pennsylvania.  There are a fair number of fish visible in this hole.  Every time I visit them they have visibly grown.  If they survive winter flows,  They will be the first wave in the re-colonization of Glade Run with Brook Trout.
