As Glade Run passes over the Lower Cascade, It tumbles and falls almost continuously. During periods of low flow, many small pools are evident. These are not visible during high flow conditions. In fact, one would be hard pressed to find a spot in this area of the stream that would not be white water during high flow conditions. It is a tiring climb. As we approach Laurel Cliff, the stream levels off a little, but our route up stream doesn't stop climbing. |
