The Canyon on Glade Run is an
interesting and beautiful geologic formation. It rises
about six feet above the moderate summer flow water level.
The stream follows a fault in the bed rock which is probably
the cause of the canyon. You can enter the canyon from
below, and travel about a third of the way up it along a
large sandbar. However, the route ends abruptly in
water that appears to be about nine feet deep.
Returning to the mouth of the canyon, you can make your way
around its deep water by traveling above either rim.
