Mossy Spring Run Confluence

The stream bed above Second Falls looks like an ancient paved highway.  The rock shelf that forms the ledge of the falls, remains at the surface for about a hundred yards to the confluence of Glade Run with Mossy Spring Run.  Mossy Spring Run meets Glade beneath the large rock in the picture at the left.  As the shelf passes Mossy Spring Run confluence, it disappears under the  gravel and boulder bed that continues up stream from here.
