When I first started fishing at Dunbar Creek, this was the
section that I and my son Stephen visited. We were drawn
to it by the fact that it does not run along a paved road with
constant vehicle traffic. We found a stream with easy
access and open casting areas; ideal for the beginner.
This is the most heavily improved section of the stream, with
a number of maintained Jack-Dams. Much of the area is
highly accessible and suitable for access (With some
assistance) by the elderly or disabled.
